Russian Visas
 

Russian Gateway will process your Russian visa for you or provide you with the necessary support for you to process yourself at a Russian Consulate or Embassy. Our Moscow office has accreditation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Moscow which gives us the right to issue invitations which are required to get Russian Visas. If you are not British please check with us first as there are certain nationalities whose processing takes longer or require extra documents.   

Please note Russian Visas can only be processed three months or less prior to departure.

As of 1st October 2009, the Russian Embassy insists application forms are completed online, then printed, signed and photo attached (see below for full instructions and for the link to the website. Printed PDF application forms are no longer acceptable under any circumstances)

1. Tourist Visa
Tourist visas are included in the price of all of our tours and cruises - the fees above are for visa only bookings.
Prices include all processing, invitation & postage costs. Tourist visas are  single or double entry and for a maximum stay of 30 days. Really, any stay of less than 30 days can be covered by a tourist visa.

Single Entry 30 day Visa - 12  day full processing service  £107 + VAT (total £125.72)

1. Full UK passport with at least two free pages & valid for at least six months after exit date from Russia.
2. 1 passport sized photograph glued to the bottom left hand  corner of the application form 
3. Cheque with full payment payable to Russian Gateway (UK) Ltd (or pay online using the links above)
4. 1 completed, signed application form per traveller. Please note the Embassy no longer accepts handwritten application forms

5. A return self addressed Special Delivery envelope - preferably C5 size plastic type prepaid envelope sold in most Post Offices for £5.40.

Question - Where would you like to submit your Visa Application/s?
Answer - Russian Visa application centre, Edinburgh Consulate general of Russian Federation, Edinburgh

Question - Should you decide to Post (Mail/ Courier) your application/s to us, select the appropriate services that you will use i.e. Royal Mail.
Answer - In person at the application centre

Question - How would you like your processed application returned to you?
Answer - Collect in person from the application centre

Question - How would you like your application to be processed?
Answer - Normal

Question - Please provide your active Email-ID
Answer - visa@russiangateway.com (you can copy and paste this)

Question - Enter Code as Seen in Image (Case Sensitive):
Answer - Copy the letters and/or numbers displayed into the space below them. Use upper and lower case as displayed and do not enter any spaces.

Click 'Continue'

Now, continue to complete the form onscreen using the following guidance notes to help you to answer some of the 'tricky' questions: If any question marked with a red star * does not apply to you - put NA

Section called Visa Details:
If you are travelling on holiday, choose Tourist Visa. This also applies if you intend to travel on a tourist visa for business meetings

Choose duration '1 month' (however, your visa will be valid for the duration of your visit only)

Section called Visit Details:
Russian Institution or organisation to be visited ...
This is the name of the supplier of your visa support and their license number.

Passport Issue by ...
Copy the issuing 'authority' as in your passport - For UK passports it is either UKPA or IPS

List all countries visited in the last ten years ...
If this exceeds the space permitted - put 'see attached' and submit a blank page with the details. You can be brief - e.g. USA 2007, India 2008 etc
Make sure you mention all the countries stamped in your passport

Section called Employer/School details:
If entering NA, when you get to the Phone no field enter 0 (a zero) - it will not accept NA in this field!

Finally, print, sign and send your application to us. If we see that you have made any errors, we can access your application online and will ask you to simply reprint the new version, sign it and send to us.

After you have finished the process, print the form, sign and date it then attach photo and send it to us, not the above-mentioned company
